Stereotypes

Tamboly made portraits men with tough facial features mostly in a feminine historical hairstyle. The goal is to raise awareness of social stereotypes and illuminate how much social media determines the was we see another human being from a different background from ours..

The process

He made these portraits with different characters with mixed backgrounds and ethnicities. If we cover the bigger part of the picture and try to imagine how these men look, we will have a very different imagination from what the portraits show.
